Vacation vs. Travel

Every day on the trip so far , Scot and I have been up before 6:30 a.m. One morning we were up at 3:45 in order to make a n early morning tour. Some people would hate this: they want to go on a trip and relax, do nothing. We like this to a certain extent as well, but on trips, we’re always trying to do and see and learn as much as possible. I think there’s a distinction between vacation and travel; we’re always far more interested in the latter.

  2. I completely relate to your preference for travel vs. vacation. I LOVE learning and travel gives a chance to learn about so many things. My brain is always thinking “what is the same as home/what is very different.” I have never thought about traveling to Egypt until your posts. Hopefully, some day. Thanks for the rich detail you are posting!
