We decided to create this blog so we can share our experiences, both at home and when we travel. We hope you will travel along with us.

Scot T. O’Hara

Scot T. O’Hara worked in technical communications for more than thirty years, including nearly two decades as the Director of Knowledge Management at a major financial firm. Before that, he was an award-winning journalist for a Gannett newspaper in Florida.

Born in Rochester, New York, Scot moved to Merritt Island, Florida as a teenager. He earned a BSJ degree from Northwestern University and an MFA in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago. He currently lives in Chicago with his husband, Dale Boyer.

Dale Boyer

Dale Boyer is the author of four books, including a short story collection, THORNTON STORIES, a novel, THE DANDELION CLOUD, a children’s book JUSTIN & THE MAGIC STONE, and his most recent publication, a poetry collection, COLUMBUS IN THE NEW WORLD.

He regularly contributes book reviews to The Gay & Lesbian Review Worldwide, and has published fiction, poetry, and news stories in many different publications. He is married to fellow novelist Scot T. O’Hara.
